Day 4.5....checkin out Albuquerque

Tonite, after some r and r, we checked out the city. I had no idea it was in a valley! It's pretty nice here. We had dinner in the ole town section in a restaurant on the side of the street, La Hacienda. Even though we aren't Catholic, we visite an impressive ole Catholic church. I wore a Tennessee shirt and had two families come up from Memphis and Knoxville! GO VOLS!

We've rested today, tomorrow, it's back on the road. It is supposed to be windy in the am, but not like yesterday. Hope it's warmer, woke up this am to 50 degrees...brrr.r

Looks like you are having a great adventure with your family, Mark.

Are you headed to California? If so, where?

Hi again Mark and family,

I'm in Fresno so it looks like you are going to miss me by a few miles. However, if you decide to take Hwy. 41 into Yosemite, you will pass right through Fresno.
Where are you staying in Morro Bay? If your get a chance, eat at Taco Temple. Morro Bay is our all time favorite place to visit and I would like to retire there! My best friend is the host at Morro Bay State Park.
Gilroy has what must be the world's biggest outlet mall. Visit at your own risk.
